DID YOU KNOW?•According to statistics from ZERO Prostate Cancer, prostate cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer among American men after skin cancer. This year alone, it is expected that just over 299,000 new cases of prostate cancer will be diagnosed.•The ZERO Prostate Cancer Walk/Run took place earlier this month, which was proudly sponsored by the Hartford HealthCare Tallwood Urology & Kidney Institute. In this year’s event, 400 registrants came together at Dunkin’ Park (home of Hartford Yard Goats Baseball) to walk, run, volunteer, and ultimately raise awareness about the significance of prostate cancer in our communities. •An incredible $117,000 were raised in the effort to more equitably screen and treat those who may be at risk of prostate cancer! We are six days away from the 2024 Travelers Championship! 🏌️Hartford HealthCare is proud to be a sponsor of arguably the greatest golf tournament in all of New England!We will have our Sports Zone open beginning on Wednesday, June 19th located between the 15th tee and 16th green at the TPC River Highlands golf course in Cromwell, so be sure to stop by and cool off, learn about various health offerings we have across the state, and even have your golf swing analyzed by our experts at the Rehabilitation Network.
