Good overall I’ve been going there sense I was in first grade and I’ve seen nothing but progress for as long as I’ve been there.

J.U Blacksher is a small school, so it is simple to get one on one time with counselors and teachers; but that also means there are not many sport and club opportunities .

The best part is how much the stuff cares for you and how far they go to get you the education you need. The worst part is how much our rules change.

J.U. Blacksher is underfunded and the education standards lower every year. More students come every year, but no changes seem to be made in order to accommodate the rise in numbers. The athletic facilities, classrooms, and extracurricular spots are all in poor condition. The people that are involved with the school and its activities are great it is mainly the lack of funding that hurts the school so much.

I love how close-knit the community is, everyone knows everyone so it is a comfortable learning environment. I believe the school could better the curriculum and better ready their students for college.

I would recommend J.U.Blacksher to families who want to stay in a very small area who want their children to be close with their classmates. I was am very close with my classmates and this allowed me to make many friends. You can have that one on one relationship with your teachers as well. However, I feel that since it is a smaller school my education level is lower than others due to the fact the school is so small and teachers do not have such a high standard.

I have been at J.U.Blacksher since 6th grade. I have learned many things at my school. I have learned how to work with others, have more confidence in public speaking, how to time manage, and how to have fun while.

J. U. Blacksher was a school that helped me find what I was good at and what I struggled at. It showed me what I had to do to succeed and how I have to do it.

The teachers at the school are amazing. They give it their all when teaching their students. They want to help their students succeed in life. They listen to a student when they have a problem, they look out for kids, try to make work enjoyable and laugh with their students. I want to especially thank MS. Baggett my highschool English teacher for 11th and 12th grade. She is such an incredibly caring and helpful teacher. She teaches you and prepares you for college, as well as life. She really goes out of her way for seniors or any of her students in general. She is the senior student sponsor who directs and manages anything to handle with being a senior. She dedicates her time to try and find every way to make seniors last year memorable and them having the time of their lives. She puts her own money into special events for us. All of the teachers and faculty are amazing people who love their jobs and their students.

I've attended JUB since Pre-K. It has been my forever home and I have never thought about transferring elsewhere. In a small town, it's extremely close-knitted and everyone knows everyone. Faculty are great and you really will learn something.

This is an amazing school to grow up in. I've been going here my whole life, and have had a mostly positive experience. Academics are fine, teachers are very good. School food is pretty bad sometimes, but it has some alright days.

I have went to this school for many years. In my time spent here I have learned many valuable life lessons. Lunch room food is quite lacking, but the facilities are slowly improving. Since my time spent here the school has improved a lot, better guidelines. If I could change one thing I was fire Coach Taylor.

J.U. Blacksher is a good school but it academics have fallen. They are kind and very supportive of sports but compared to academics, it is not good. It needs some updates to a few facilities like the gym and cafeteria. And it needs a good clean-up like around the campus and surrounding area.

J.U.Blacksher is a small school. You get the opportunity of one on one time with teachers. They teach you not only about school but also about life after school.

J.U.Blacksher is a great school for the small community of Uriah. Since 2016, J.U.Blacksher has grown with more than 700 kids. J.U.Blacksher is a highly spirited school for all sports they offer as well.

I have attended J.U.Blacksher since I was in kindergarten. I have loved our school is a more of a family than students and teachers. Everyone knows each other and comes together anytime something happens. The teachers are willing to go out their way to see their students succeed. They know their students personally and understands their personalities. I am a senior this year and will miss this school deeply.

The things I like about J.U.Blacksher is it isn't a big school so you know everyone and all the teachers know you. Teachers take there time to help the students learn so they'll pass and get good grades. Everyone there is really nice. I'd like to see some change in the gym.

School begins at 7:35. I have gone to this school since kindergarten. It is a decent school. It isn't awful but it's not the best place in the world. The lunchroom food is devastatingly awful. I look forward to college food that hopefully is much better than what we have here.
